As a director and teacher Martha collaborates with performance artists to find the story in personal histories and social/political movements.
As writer and performer Martha is developing her one-woman-show, Lady Parts, exploring the dark and hilarious corners of inheritance, parenting, and internalized misogyny. But, all in all, Martha spends most of her time at Solo Performance Workshop, waving her arms around, crafting ridiculous metaphors and eating giant burritos. |

Martha is the director of the internationally acclaimed W. Kamau Bell Curve: Ending Racism in About an Hour, which is the basis for Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell, a late night talk show which premiered on FX in 2012; Martha served as a producer in 2013.
